APPLY TO OUR STUDENT VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Our Student Volunteer Program offers opportunities for recent undergraduate and graduate students to learn more about the international human rights protection mechanisms against arbitrary detention and gain hands-on experience by making practical contributions towards the protection of victims of arbitrary detention.

Missions

Conduct research and draft situation reports to assist our team taking cases of arbitrary detention to the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention.

Positions

While positions are remote, part-time and generally lasting 3 months, our volunteer program constitutes the main way we recruit our future staff members.

Requirements

A proven interest in human rights, good verbal and written command of English, as well as a knowledge of other UN languages are highly desirable.
